Job summary

JBS Foods in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to employees under the supervision of the Occupational Health Manager. This role supports employee health, workplace safety, injury management, regulatory compliance, and return-to-work programs to promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Occupational health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to employees under physician directives and nursing standards.
• Monitor employee health status and communicate significant changes to the O H Manager.
• Assist with employee transportation during emergencies and with health assessments.
• Document care and interactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality and continuity of care.
• Support OSHA, Workers' Compensation, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
