Job summary

JBS Foods seeks an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Manager to lead the corporate and site health services program, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance and robust data reporting across locations.

Responsibilities include policy development, managing workers’ compensation programs, and coordinating with safety and risk teams to protect employee health and productivity.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice required.
• 5–7 years of progressive management experience in a large health facility.
• Experience with Workers' Compensation self-insured programs preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with management.
• Experience with safety data collection and system administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate policies and procedures to provide high-quality employee health services.
• Develop and maintain medical treatment protocols and equipment/supplies.
• Assure data collection, reporting and regulatory compliance for employee health records.
• Ensure effective case management with internal and external contacts.
• Assist in performance evaluations of Occupational Health Departments.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Oversee TPA administration and workers’ compensation claims.
• Collect and analyze workers’ comp data to evaluate safety and claims goals.
• Collaborate with site teams and Third Party Administrator on WC claims.
• Lead claims calls with WC managers, site teams and counsel as needed.
• Coordinate access to facilities with brokers or safety personnel.
