Job summary

JBS Foods in Wisconsin seeks an Occupational Nurse licensed as an RN or LPN to lead and manage the site’s occupational health program. You will provide direct employee care under medical directives, supervise health staff, and ensure compliance with state nursing regulations and confidentiality standards.

You will schedule health assessments, oversee return-to-work evaluations, and maintain documentation while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RN or LPN in the state of employment.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Experience in coordinating occupational health activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains an efficient occupational health care process for the facility.
• Manages Occupational Health staff and ensures policy adherence.
• Ensures documentation meets legal requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Provides direct care to employees and performs first aid, triage, and case management.
• Schedules health assessments and return-to-work evaluations.
• Oversees drug and alcohol testing compliance.
• May require after-hours availability.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
