Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit to support our mission of extending care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, with a 36-hour work week on day shifts. Requirements include Maryland CNA, CNA exam completion, BLS, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Maryland CNA License required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of CNA exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Participate in education programs and professional initiatives.
• Adhere to care plans and report to RN.
• Identify and report malfunctioning equipment; maintain safe work areas.
• Present a professional image representing nursing and the organization.
