Job summary

White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit. The role provides support to RNs through vital signs, ADLs, and daily care within a structured care plan.

Candidates should be a Maryland CNA with active BLS, good English communication, and the ability to lift and move patients. Acute care experience is preferred; the position is full-time with day shifts in Montgomery County.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CNA program completed and CNA exam passed.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• General computer skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
• Ensure safety and report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and supplies.
