Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Observation Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform various service duties and routine technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, follow care plans, participate in education programs, and maintain a safe environment. Shift: Night, 36 hours/week, 6:45 pm - 7:15 am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CNA or first-year nursing program completed and CNA exam passed.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• English proficiency required.
• Ability to lift and move patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans established by RN and report appropriately.
• Maintain safety culture and report equipment issues.
• Attend education programs and professional initiatives.
