LPL Financial LLC is seeking a leader to oversee Observability Engineering and Operations Monitoring across the enterprise. You will lead a team focused on monitoring strategy, platform engineering, incident support, and observability practices to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements include 10+ years in IT operations, Dynatrace certification, and hands‑on AWS, ELK, and SRE experience. This is a senior, cross‑functional role within a hybrid/cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading IT operations including infrastructure planning.
• Strong experience with observability, monitoring platforms, and SRE practices.
• Proven ability to guide cross‑functional teams and manage incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations Monitoring team and develop monitoring strategy.
• Oversee enterprise monitoring platforms, security, and governance.
• Support incident management, escalation, and post‑incident reviews.
• Evaluate monitoring technologies and drive platform integrations.
• Improve end‑to‑end monitoring, problem detection, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain service catalog and access controls for monitoring tools.
• Provide cross‑platform monitoring support for apps, infra, cloud, and hardware.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging observability tech.
