Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Associate Technical Lead SRE to shape reliability foundations across platforms. You will lead hands-on efforts, collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Platform teams, and mentor engineers to embed observability from day one.

This role emphasizes design excellence, incident readiness, cloud cost optimization, and risk management, with a strong focus on SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs, and supporting major incidents when required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on SRE/Platform Engineering experience.
• Experience in Azure services (AKS, Azure Container Apps, VNet).
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container platforms; Linux admin background.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment of SRE foundations for new projects, monitoring, alerting, and readiness from day one.
• Embed reliability, security, and observability into system design with architecture/engineering teams.
• Define observability standards, tooling, and guidelines across metrics, logs, traces, and SLIs/SLOs.
