Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Technical Lead SRE to advance reliability across Markets and Risk Intelligence. You will lead SRE foundations, collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Platform teams, and mentor engineers to ensure reliability from day one.

Requirements include 10+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering, strong Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, and observability experience, plus a background in cloud cost optimization and AI-enabled observability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with Azure services and AKS, plus Kubernetes knowledge.
• Proven ability to design and operate observability platforms (monitoring, logs, traces).

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE foundations for new projects, ensuring reliability from day one.
• Embed reliability, security, and observability into system design with teams.
• Define and champion observability standards across metrics, logs, and SLIs/SLOs.
• Drive incident reduction, performance tuning, and resilient patterns.
• Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions.
