Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Product Manager, Observability, to own the strategy and roadmap for our observability products. You will partner with engineering and design to make telemetry actionable for developers and define native vs. integration surfaces with Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana.

You will work with Enterprise customers and Sales on adoption, own pricing decisions with Finance, and craft launch docs with PMM. Hybrid role based in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management for developer/infrastructure products.
• Experience shipping technical products used by engineers.
• Ability to read traces and reason about data costs and sampling.
• Strong data querying and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for observability products from ingestion to developer-facing surfaces.
• Turn signals into a sequenced plan with clear tradeoffs.
• Partner daily with engineering and design to improve telemetry readability.
• Define native vs. integration strategy with vendors like Datadog, Sentry, Grafana.
• Work with Enterprise customers and Sales on observability needs.
• Own pricing and packaging decisions with Finance and GTM.
• Draft launch narratives and documentation; coordinate with PMM.
• Define and track metrics to measure success.
