Job summary

Elastic is seeking an outstanding Observability Product Marketing leader to helm the Observability PMM team. You will partner with product and company leadership to define marketing, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Elastic Observability aimed at SREs and decision-makers.

You will lead a growing PMM team, set the Observability marketing direction, and craft compelling content for web, press, executives, and sales enablement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading global PMM teams in observability or related areas.
• Proven ability to craft outbound messaging for a technical audience (SRE).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.
• Hands-on with products; practitioner background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership on market trends and competition.
• Lead Observability PMM team including hiring and development.
• Set marketing strategy: messaging, content, priorities, GTM
• Articulate Elastic’s differentiation vs competitors.
• Create content for web, press, briefings, blogs and enablement
• Understand personas, buying processes, and value derived by users
• Represent the company at events and interviews
• Act as a technical product marketing lead for Elastic Observability
• Be an internal authority on developer and SRE personas
