Datadog is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Observability Data Platform to shape deployment strategies across the control plane and data layer for platform engineers, SREs, and product managers at scale.

You will translate complex infra trade-offs into roadmaps, engage with design partners and customers, and collaborate with pricing and engineering to deliver cross‑product experiences. This role offers a hybrid work model and strong growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager for developer-focused SaaS or data products.
• Strong cross-org navigation across engineering, product, pricing and commercial teams.
• Command of distributed data infrastructure concepts and platform architecture.
• Ability to distill architecture, cost-to-serve trade-offs and priorities into clear context.
• Customer-focused with high quality standards and collaborative approach.
• Bonus: observability platforms, cloud-native, multi-cloud or pricing experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand Observability Data Platform customers and their deployment challenges.
• Define product direction across control plane and data layer with clear outcomes.
• Lead conversations with design partners and customers through prototypes to GA.
• Develop cost-profile understanding and contribute to pricing discussions with engineering.
• Anticipate AI-native infrastructure trends and translate them into product direction.
• Drive cross-functional discussions to deliver seamless, unified platform experiences.
• Support active customer engagements and contribute to executive-level roadmap discussions.
• Track adoption and iterate based on data and feedback.
