Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an OB Tech to support the delivery of compassionate newborn and maternal care on the night shift. You will assist the RN with scrub duties, patient handling, and admission/discharge activities while maintaining room readiness and instrument sterility.

The role involves direct patient care, safe handling, and collaboration with the nursing team across labor and delivery.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Preferred CNA certification or nursing student clinical rotation.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
• Experience in surgery or OB strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer call lights and phones.
• Learn patient safe handling and assist ambulation and transfers.
• Prepare and breakdown sterile instruments; assist in OR setup and scrub duties.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfers; provide patient room orientation.
• Document patient care activities (ADL, vital signs, intake/output).
• Restock equipment/linens and relay test results to nurses.
