Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an OB Tech to work nights at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role supports RN-led patient care, scrubbing for procedures, and patient safety, with weekend rotation. You will help with admissions, discharges, and general unit tasks while maintaining sterility and accurate records.

The position requires US work eligibility, and preferred CNA and BLS certifications with OB/surgical experience. Great growth opportunities and union-friendly benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Preferred CNA certification or completion of student nurse rotation.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
• Experience in surgery or OB strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub tech duties under RN supervision and assist in patient care.
• Support patient safety, handling, ambulation, and transfers with Safe Patient Handling.
• Prepare and break down sterile instruments, set up OR rooms and assist in procedures.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfers, and room orientation.
• Document patient care activities (vital signs, intake/output, ADL) as directed.
• Provide care companionship as needed and assist department tasks.
