Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an OB Tech to support the nursing team during night shifts. The role includes scrub duties, patient care tasks, and maintaining safety on the unit.

The OBT will assist with sterile instrument handling, room setup, and patient transfers, under RN supervision. CNA and BLS credentials are preferred, with prior OB experience a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association).
• Experience in surgery or OB strongly preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support scrub duties in labor and delivery and operating rooms.
• Assist with patient care, safety, and comfort under RN direction.
• Prepare and break down sterile instruments and maintain supplies.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and room setup as needed.
• Handle instrumentation and participate in safe patient handling and transfers.
