Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an OB Tech for Evanston Hospital, night shift. Role includes scrub tech duties, patient care tasks, and assisting nurses to ensure patient safety and comfort. Located in Evanston IL with weekend rotation.

Primary duties involve scrub setup, patient transfers, and routine room care under RN supervision, with an emphasis on safety and age-appropriate care for adults, adolescents, and newborns.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Night shift availability and weekend rotation.
• CNA preferred; BLS certification required.
• Experience in surgery or OB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; respond to calls.
• Assist in patient ambulation and transfers using Safe Patient Handling.
• Prepare and break down sterile instruments; assist in OR.
• Support admissions, discharges, and room setup.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and other care activities.
