Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an OB Tech for Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role covers night shifts (1900-0730) with weekend rotation, 36 hours per week, and premium pay opportunities.

The OBT will work under the RN, perform scrub tech duties, patient care tasks, and assist with admissions, procedures, and routine unit support, ensuring safety and comfort across adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA certification or completion of student nurse clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in surgery or OB strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, assist in facility.
• Learn patient safe handling to assist ambulation and transferring with staff.
• Prepare and breakdown sterile instruments, set up OR, scrub during procedures.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers, provide room orientation.
• Perform ADL, vital signs, and routine measurements under RN direction.
