Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Nurse Aide to support Labor and Delivery. The role involves assisting with obstetrical procedures, scrubbing, and direct patient care under the supervision of experienced staff.

Night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays are included. Candidate must have Nursing Assistant training, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced obstetric setting. BLS certification is required within 6 months.

Formación

• Nurse Aide in good standing; BLS for Healthcare Providers certification to be obtained within 6 months.
• Advanced training beyond high school in Nursing Assistant.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and EMR literacy including electronic medical records systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with obstetrical procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Scrub for obstetrical procedures and assist with instrument passing.
• Assist with delivery procedures and prepare area per provider preference.
• Assist in direct patient care activities and maintain safety.
• Serve as a resource for training staff in equipment and procedures.
