UP Health System - Portage, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an OB RN Director to lead a dedicated OB team within a Level I Maternal Care and Nursery setting in Michigan. The role emphasizes nursing leadership, quality improvement and staff development to ensure exceptional care for mothers and babies.
Qualified candidates will hold a Michigan RN license with an associate degree (BSN preferred) and bring Labor and Delivery experience plus leadership capabilities.
Formación
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Associate degree from accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred).
- BLS-HCP certification.
- 4 years Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
- 2 years leadership experience in healthcare (preferred).
- NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE current or within 1 year.
Responsabilidades
- Lead OB team delivering maternal and newborn care.
- Coordinate care using nursing process.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting clinical services.
- Perform performance improvement studies and PI initiatives.
- Coordinate staff scheduling and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and legal standards.
- Support patient education in Labor and Delivery.
