Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking an experienced OB RN Director in Michigan to lead a team delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. The role focuses on mentorship, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction within Labor and Delivery.

You will coordinate care, guide staff, ensure accreditation and standards, and participate in performance improvement. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license and an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• BLS-HCP certification.
• 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (preferred).
• 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare (preferred).
• NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE (current or within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department, utilizing the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support the implementation of related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care, flow, and clinical standards.
• Ensure departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients, specifically in Labor and Delivery.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
