Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking an experienced OB RN Director in Michigan to lead a team delivering exceptional obstetric care to mothers and newborns. The role focuses on guiding clinical practice, mentoring staff, and maintaining high patient satisfaction in Labor & Delivery.

The position requires an active RN license in Michigan, BLS-HCP, and relevant leadership experience. A competitive salary is offered with sign-on and relocation assistance for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license or eligibility with active state license.
• BLS-Healthcare Provider certification.
• 4 years of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
• 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare (preferred).
• Certifications in NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE (current or within 1 year).
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in the OB department using the nursing process.
• Identify and address issues affecting clinical service delivery.
• Conduct performance improvement studies and support related initiatives.
• Act as a resource for staff and external contacts regarding patient care, flow, and clinical standards.
• Ensure departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and healthcare standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, educational activities, and performance evaluations.
• Provide and coordinate educational needs for patients, specifically in Labor and Delivery.
