Broadlawns Medical Center OB/GYN clinic seeks a dedicated Unit Clerk to support patient flow and clinic operations. You will schedule appointments by phone and in person, check out patients, prepare charts, scan documents to the EMR, and assist with clerical duties essential to daily clinic functioning.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with computers, and completion of Nursing Services orientation.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with computers and basic software.
• Demonstrates effective communication with patients and hospital staff.
• Successful completion of Nursing Services orientation and in-service requirements.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, and evaluate unit activities under supervision.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage check-out.
• Process orders and documentations in the EMR and ordering systems.
• Serve as unit receptionist and answer phones with service excellence.
• Maintain a neat, organized work area and handle supplies and data entry.
• Assist with orientation of new clerical staff and computer system training.
• Perform messenger duties as needed and support performance improvement activities.
