Job summary

Viva Eve in New York is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to manage OB/GYN surgical workflows, from scheduling through post-operative follow-up. You will work with specialists, nurses, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and patient care.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and maintain compliance with HIPAA while coordinating patient education and pre/post-operative instructions. This onsite role supports our Forest Hills location and OB/GYN services.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with surgical coordination or medical administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with OB/GYN terminology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical scheduling for OB/GYN patients.
• Oversee pre-operative tests, clearances, and consents.
• Liaise with hospital/ASC staff to schedule procedures and ensure resources.
• Coordinate post-operative follow-ups and recovery checks.
• Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization needs.
• Maintain compliant and accurate surgical records and documentation.
