The role requires at least two years of surgery scheduling experience (OBGYN preferred), strong medical terminology knowledge, and proficient data entry in an EMR system such as eCW. You will verify benefits and coordinate referrals to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years surgery scheduling experience, preferably OBGYN.
• Experience verifying patient benefits.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in EMR data entry (preferably eCW).
• Triage experience a plus.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for surgery and follow-up appointments.
• Checks in with patients following surgery.
• Verifies insurance benefits.
• Coordinates referrals related to pending surgeries.
• Schedules patients for Level 2 sonograms.
• Represents clinic professionally to all customers.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities.
• Demonstrates Women's Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
