Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Business Services Representative – OB/GYN to support a busy women’s health practice at the front desk. You will schedule appointments, check patients in/out, verify insurance, collect copays, and assist with referrals and authorizations while maintaining accurate records.

You will also support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks such as chart preparation and handling incoming communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answers phones and routes calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedules patient appointments to maximize provider productivity.
