Job summary

Trinity Health's OB/GYN front-desk team is seeking a patient-focused Business Services Representative. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, check in/out, verify insurance, collect copays, manage referrals and authorizations, and support providers and staff with administrative tasks.

This role emphasizes organization, personable communication, and dedication to patient-centered care within a busy women’s health practice across Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills. Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients courteously in person or by phone.
• Answers calls timely with appropriate scripting.
• Transfers calls to the correct staff member.
• Schedules patient appointments per department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
