Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to join our Women's Health Breast Center in Hartford, CT. You will be the first point of contact for patients, greet visitors, answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and handle registration and billing support.

This on-site role offers a Day Shift with competitive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical office or billing dept preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in person or by phone in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answers telephones promptly and directs calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Processes calls and transfers patients to the right staff/provider.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
