Job summary

SAFCO is hiring an experienced Relationship Manager to own and grow our Oakland, CA market. You’ll inherit an active pipeline and work with a dedicated Account Manager and Regional Manager to expand funded volume with existing dealer partners.

The role offers a $65,000 base salary plus uncapped monthly commissions; top performers earn $150,000+ all-in, with mileage and expense reimbursement. You will visit 8–10 dealers daily across Oakland and surrounding markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in indirect auto finance territory sales.
• Current residence in the Oakland, CA metro area; this is a field role.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with F&I managers, GMs, and dealer principals.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined territory of dealers, averaging 8–10 in-person visits per day.
• Grow funded volume with active dealer partners through visits, coaching, and quick follow-up.
• Reactivate dormant accounts with targeted plans and sign new dealer partners.
• Coach dealer F&I teams on structuring deals and demonstrate SAFCO Assist to show faster funding.
• Manage your pipeline in Salesforce in real time with the inside Account Manager.
• Track market and dealer trends and report insights to leadership.
