Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems, including inverters and switchgear.

The role requires 2+ years in a related role orJourneyman certification, with high school diploma as minimum; electrical certifications and military/utility training are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly maintenance and inspections on utility-scale PV power plants.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters, switchgear, and metering.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Assist with planning and executing on-site projects and testing.
