Job summary

Rho in New York is hiring a Workplace Generalist to own NYC workplace programming end-to-end, from events to space planning, with close partnership across People E&E and vendors. You will manage inventory, onboarding experiences, vendor roster, and leverage AI to boost productivity while maintaining a high‑quality office experience for teammates.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in events, hospitality, workplace, or operations, superb discretion, and strong time‑management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
1–3 years in events, hospitality, workplace, or operations.
Sharp taste and attention to details.
Willing to do unglamorous work and improve processes.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

Own NYC workplace programming calendar end-to-end: events, activations, community moments, logistics and budget.
Partner with People E&E on space planning, sublease transitions, and new‑market buildouts.
Be NYC’s point of contact for workplace and space; build trust across departments and close gaps.
Share learnings as Rho opens new offices and influence future city layouts.
Walk the office to monitor supplies, equipment, and cleanliness.
Triage incoming work, protect team from noise, and set priorities.
