Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Workplace Experience Specialist in New York to bring our culture to life in the office. In this role you will own the day-to-day experience, welcome employees and guests, and ensure the workspace reflects Mercury’s design and values.

This is an in-office role with five days on-site and two remote days per month. You’ll coordinate events, manage vendors, and support safety, access, and the onboarding setup for new hires, contributing immediately to our team.

Qualifications

• 5 days in office; 2 days remote per month.
• 2-3+ years of office management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and event planning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site presence and cultural ambassador for the NYC office.
• Own daily space operations: lunch, kitchen, mail, deliveries, and visitor management.
• Keep the office organized and aligned with Mercury’s aesthetic.
• Plan and execute monthly office events reflecting Mercury’s culture.
• Manage relationships with onsite vendors and track facilities within budget.
• Set up desks, meeting rooms, and AV for new hires and guests; manage access and safety.
