Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a motivated Field Technician to cover the New York Metropolitan area, including Queens. You will handle technical support, project segments, and process improvements while ensuring network performance and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring experience in RAN, backhaul, 5G NR, and base station maintenance, and can work independently in a fast-paced urban market with flexible hours and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR combination of education and relevant experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Candidates with strong technical or field experience are encouraged to apply - no degree required.
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and standards
• Other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
