T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a motivated Field Technician to cover the New York Metropolitan area, focusing on wireless network performance, RAN/5G maintenance, and field operations.

You will work across Queens and surrounding sites, handling technical support, project tasks, and process improvements with a hands-on, independent approach. The role requires knowledge of RF, power systems, backhaul, and disaster recovery, with flexibility for day/night shifts and on-call support in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; relevant field experience may substitute
• 2–4 years in Field Operations and maintenance
• 2–4 years in wireless telecommunications or related experience
• Foundational knowledge of network design, capacity planning, power systems, and RAN/5G principles

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and outage resolution
• Manage smaller projects or project segments with status updates
• Identify and propose process improvements for maintenance and repair activities
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and documentation with senior technicians
• Complete required training to stay current with systems and standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
