Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Technician for San Francisco to support network operations by applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve performance and reliability. You will help manage small projects, provide technical support, and contribute to process improvements that enhance service quality for customers.

The role requires understanding of 5G NR, radio access networks, backhaul, and disaster recovery, with a focus on timely updates and robust problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Preferred: Vocational/Technical Training or related field
• 2-4 years working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
• 2-4 years wireless telecommunications or related experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
