Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a motivated Field Technician to support the New York Metropolitan area. You will handle network design basics, RAN, and backhaul across a wide site area in Queens, NY, combining hands-on troubleshooting with project coordination.

The role requires strong electronics/RAN knowledge, 5G NR experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced urban market. On-site work with flexible hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 2-4 years field operations experience.
• 2-4 years wireless telecommunications experience; willing to travel across Queens, NY area.
• Strong knowledge of network design, capacity planning, power systems, and RAN concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues.
• Manage smaller projects and report progress to stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements for maintenance and repair activities.
• Develop job aids and procedural documentation with senior staff.
• Complete required training to stay current with systems and standards.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.
