Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Management Consultant to oversee and manage multiple high-end commercial real estate projects in the greater New York City area. This onsite role entails reporting to client offices and project sites as required.

You will lead the project management lifecycle from initiation through completion, coordinating budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk management while interfacing directly with clients to define scope and deliverables.

Qualifications

• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related experience.
• Experience with high-rise, high-end interior projects and demanding clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in varying stages and deliver under pressure.
• Experience with high-end interior renovations and construction management.
• Strong judgment from analyzing multiple sources of information.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Strong interpersonal skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead all facets of project management for multiple commercial renovation projects, including budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk.
• Read, understand, and apply complex documents affecting real estate projects (agreements, leases, work letters, charters, surveys, drawings).
• Interface with clients to define project requirements and prepare scope, budget, schedule, quality plans and risk management.
• Identify delivery resources, conduct RFIs/RFPs, perform bid analysis, and recommend resources.
• Lead project delivery teams and provide guidance to achieve goals.
• Implement communication plans and facilitate meetings with clients and teams.
• Govern project documentation and ensure data integrity and timely coordination.
• Track progress against budgets and schedules; report variances and craft action plans.
• Assess change requests, secure client approvals, and issue change orders.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Demonstrate understanding of how projects impact business results and manage within broader context.
