Job summary

Compu-Vision - IT is seeking an experienced AV Technician to provide hands-on support for audio and videoconferencing systems across offices in New York City. You will troubleshoot, conduct site surveys, coordinate technology implementations and upgrades, and deliver end-user training for AV technologies, including videoconferencing, distance learning, and audio systems.

Experience in highly confidential environments.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple AV support activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Hands-on experience with videoconferencing endpoints (Cisco, Tandberg, Polycom).
Experience with streaming and PA systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for audio and videoconferencing systems across NYC offices.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment and systems.
Perform site surveys and diagnose moves/adds/changes/repairs.
Oversee upgrades and deployments of videoconferencing systems and conference rooms.
Develop project plans from user requirements and coordinate stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and interface with vendors to resolve issues.
Provide end-user training and guidance on AV systems.
Coordinate with Desktop Support to fulfill videoconferencing requests.
