Sedgwick in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner with NY licensing to analyze New York Lost-Time claims and determine benefits due to clients. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• NY licensing required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NY Lost-Time claims to determine benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions.
