Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner with NY jurisdiction experience to analyze New York Lost-Time claims, determine benefits due, and adjudicate within client service expectations. You will work with a global network of experts to deliver customer-focused solutions and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), NY licensing, and a minimum of two years’ claims management experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Minimum of two years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• NY licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally.
