Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an NX Cad Admin / Triage support to establish, maintain, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment for engineering and manufacturing teams. You will ensure reliable, performant, and standardized tools for rapid innovation and scale.

You will support CAD software (NX/SolidWorks), manage the IT helpdesk queue, onboard new hires, create self-service documentation, and provide leadership and training on NX issues across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of IT helpdesk/technical support experience.
• 1–2 years of CAD support with NX or SolidWorks in a professional setting.
• Ability to interpret NX logs and sys logs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize the Siemens NX CAD environment for multi-user deployment.
• Provide specialized CAD software support (NX, SolidWorks) to design and engineering teams.
• Manage IT helpdesk queue (Jira Service Desk), triage and assign tickets.
• Resolve Tier 1–2 CAD/PLM issues and meet SLAs for response and resolution.
• Onboard new hires with CAD-capable workstations and software access.
• Create and maintain self-service IT documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide technical leadership and training for engineering/design staff; act as escalation point for NX.
• Coordinate CAD/PLM projects with engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality; liaise with Siemens/external providers.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement projects for CAD/PLM; quantify benefits.
• Ensure CAD configuration aligns with security, quality, and regulatory standards; assess risks.
