Job summary

Marion General Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Manager to lead the department’s daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency in patient meals. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and partner with the Director to advance service excellence.

Responsibilities include HACCP compliance, staff development, and cross-department coordination to meet patient and hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of food service experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
• Oversee daily operations and production for the Nutrition Services department.
• Develop and manage the department budget and fiscal year plan.
• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and administer corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and information security policies.
• Plan and conduct staff meetings and continuing education for core staff.
• Establish department goals in collaboration with leadership and implement approved policies.
• Monitor quality and customer satisfaction, seeking continuous improvement.
