Job summary

Cor Healthcare Partners is seeking a Dietary Manager to oversee nutrition services, food quality, and regulatory compliance at our facility in Marion, IA. You will lead daily kitchen operations and support a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising dietary staff, managing menus and inventory, ensuring safe meal service, and coordinating with nursing to meet resident dietary needs. CDM preferred and healthcare leadership experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
• Previous dietary management or food service leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dietary services and kitchen operations as the Dietary Manager.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served safely and in accordance with nutrition, sanitation, infection control, and food safety standards.
• Manage menus, meal planning, inventory, purchasing, and food ordering.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff.
• Monitor food quality, meal service, and resident satisfaction.
• Coordinate with nursing and other departments to support resident dietary needs.
• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation.
• Monitor kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, equipment, and food storage practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Prepare for surveys, audits, and inspections and address any identified concerns.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and dining services.
