Job summary

Motivation, Education, & Training, Inc. is seeking a kitchen aide to prepare meals according to CACFP guidelines and to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen. You will help maintain program records and assist in transportation when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with preferred associate degree and food service training. Expect travel within the area and strict adherence to safety and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience and training in food service is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following daily menus planned by the agency’s Nutrition Specialist, Health Services Coordinator, and Nutrition Consultant.
• Follow sanitation procedures; clean and maintain the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.
• Prepare and maintain CACFP-related records and reports.
• Report broken equipment and supply needs.
• Sign receipts and documents when items are received.
• Wear a hairnet per MET plans and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings, conferences, and training.
• Assist in agency transportation as a transportation aide when needed.
• Maintain good attendance and perform duties safely and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of program records and participant data.
• Assist in meeting non-federal share matching requirements.
