Job summary

Family Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable kitchen/food service aide to prepare meals and deliver them to classrooms in a timely, organized manner.

The role involves maintaining meal counts, preparing milk and water, stocking classrooms, and assisting with dishwashing and general clean-up across sites. Qualified applicants have a High School diploma or equivalent, are committed to nutrition services, and can interact respectfully with diverse communities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalency.
• Dedicated to nutrition services; oriented to the concept of the total family.
• Understanding and acceptance of regional, cultural, religious, and economic differences.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Meals and Deliver them to the classrooms.
• Assist in maintaining classroom meal counts.
• Make sure all special milk & Water is prepared and in the milk buckets.
• Assist with stock.
• Restock all classrooms with supplies as needed.
• Retrieve carts.
• Empty all bucket and plate buckets.
• Assist with washing dishes.
• Wipe off all carts thoroughly.
• Assist with taking boxes to the dumpsters.
• Ensure main classrooms are properly served.
• Sweep and mop designated area.
• Wash all dish towels and aprons.
