Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood Village seeks an experienced Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure high‑quality, person‑centered care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will direct clinical operations, mentor staff, and partner with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety and well‑being.

Ideal candidates hold an RN or LPN license in Ohio, with 2–3 years of long‑term care experience and at least 1 year in a Unit Manager role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor resident health status, assessments, care plans, and documentation.
• Conduct daily rounds to evaluate care, staff performance, and unit operations.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, medication administration, and safety protocols.
