Job summary
The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Zanesville, OH is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee nursing care within a designated unit. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, develop care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a resident-centered, team-oriented environment.
This role requires an Ohio-licensed RN with at least 3 years of nursing experience and a track record in supervisory or management functions.
Qualifications
- RN license in Ohio is required.
- 3+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision/management.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing care for residents in the assigned unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Develop and review individualized care plans; monitor quality and safety.
- Manage staffing levels and coordinate with Nursing Director/Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Lead documentation, medication administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and therapists for comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist in staff scheduling and address staffing changes.
- Handle resident/family concerns with effective resolutions.
