Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a qualified Unit Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to join our patient- and family-focused community in Florida. This role emphasizes team building, staff supervision, and cultivating a culture of excellence in resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active state license to practice as either an RN or LPN.
• Minimum three years nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same population; at least one year in nursing administration.
• Candidate must be compassionate, dedicated, and committed to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Assist in staff development.
• Provide direct resident care per established plans.
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
• Document resident medical status at admission and throughout treatment.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Recruit and hire nursing staff.
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
• Coordinate staffing schedules for adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and address grievances with families and staff as needed.
• Complete Preceptor Training.
• Contribute to healthcare improvements and development of a strong management team.
