Aventura At the Bay is looking for a dedicated Unit Manager (LPN/RN) to supervise daily operations in our nursing unit. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, coordinate resident care, and ensure that all regulations and policies are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise and support nursing staff while promoting quality resident care.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident care planning.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
