Job summary

Stanford Medicine Children's Health is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to support clinical management and administrative coordination on a designated unit. You will mentor staff, supervise shift operations, and ensure policy adherence and quality patient care.

You'll collaborate with the Patient Care Manager, participate in staff development, and help implement programs aimed at improving patient outcomes and unit efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of quality, therapeutic and cost-effective patient care.
• Assist in administrative/management functions and assume duties as delegated.
• Coordinate unit patient care operations for an assigned shift.
• Facilitate staff orientation, training and development; coaching and evaluations.
• Support continuous quality improvement, risk management and patient safety initiatives.
• Communicate expectations and monitor staff performance.
