Stanford Medicine Children's Health in Palo Alto seeks an Assistant Patient Care Manager to support clinical management and administrative coordination of the pediatric unit.

The role mentors staff, coordinates patient care operations for shifts, and ensures adherence to hospital policies, standards of care and patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Patient Care Manager to supervise nursing teams and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• RN license by California Board of Registered Nursing; BLS; PALS or equivalent; HIPAA/compliance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Assists in operational aspects of a designated unit and mentors staff.
• Provides leadership support to unit staff and coordinates shift operations.
• Supports the Patient Care Manager in administrative/management functions.
• Drives staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Monitors patient care processes to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
• Acts as liaison to the Patient Care Manager and implements unit policies.
